Christmas on the Cobbles
Jingle all the way to Aylesbury on Sunday 26 November for Christmas on the Cobbles – the best way to kickstart your festive season!
All things merry and bright will be taking over Aylesbury Town Centre across the day in Market Square, Friars Square Shopping Centre and Kingsbury.
1-4:30pm
Games, crafts, activities and performances in Friars Square Shopping Centre including Captain Christmas by Unbound Theatre, facepainting by Zoomania, crafts with Queens Park Arts Centre, Lego building, badge making and a visit from ice queens and snow fairies. There’s something to keep everyone entertained – whatever the weather!
The snowball arena returns to Market Square alongside other performances on the Radley Doors and Windows Stage including Miss Claus and a magic show full of surprises. The Aylesbury Lions will be serving the ultimate smell of Christmas – hot roasted chestnuts! Watch out for Hodman and Sally who will be busy doing their Christmas shopping and singing some of your favourite carols!

Bucks Radio will be on the courthouse steps, with music and entertainment in the lead up to the Illuminated Parade.
5:30pm
An epic Illuminated Parade will light up Market Square. We’ll be joined by Aylesbury Waterside Theatre pantomime star Andy Collins, Santa in his sleigh, local community groups and international street theatre performers, the incredible LED drumming group – Spark! You could be part of the parade too! Find out how below.
6pm
The Town Council’s Christmas lights will be switched on in the Market Square, hosted by Bucks Radio, and will be followed by a stunning firework display.
