36 years a lollipop lady, Janice hangs up here lollipop

Janice Worger has been a Lollipop lady for the Stoke Mandeville Combined School for over 36 years.
She finally is hanging up her lollipop today (Friday 17th May 2024).

The school hosted a surprise assembly for her with tributes from past and present pupils.

Bucks Radio popped along with a beautiful floral creation from Howes the Florist in Buckingham.
Making Janice the first recipient of our Unsung Hero Award.

Head Teacher, Elieen Stewart, said " It would be sad to see her go".
