National Restart a Heart Campaign - 22nd & 23rd October

Every October, an alliance of partners all over the world, come together to increase public awareness of cardiac arrests and increase the number of people trained in life saving CPR and defibrillation awareness. NES will be hosting sessions which will be free to our local community to attend and run at our Resuscitation Training Centre. The sessions will teach basic life-saving skills with the aim to increase survival rates for anyone who suffers a cardiac arrest outside of hospital. At present the survival rate is less than a one in ten whereas In places such as Norway, where CPR is more widely taught, the survival rate is four times that amount. We are running sessions over 2 days on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd October and would like to invite our local community to attend. The sessions are FREE and will be a maximum of 30 minutes long with multiple sessions running between 9am – 4pm and taught by Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) accredited instructors.
