Wendover
A picturesque market town located at the foot of the Chiltern Hills. Cllr Leigh Porter from Wendover Parish Council is asked why Wendover is so special.
The town dates back to the medieval era and retains much of its charm. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, it is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists, with the nearby Wendover Woods offering trails and panoramic views. Wendover's High Street is lined with quaint shops, pubs, and historic buildings. The town is also known for its proximity to the Ridgeway National Trail and the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
