The 'Monday Contact Club' are a day club for older people that meets every Monday. Throughout the day there are activities, crafts, exercises, full cooked lunch and entertainment.
The Monday Contact Club is a day club in Aylesbury for people over the age of 55 years that would benefit from activities and socialisation. The club provides support to vulnerable elderly clients and gives their carers six hours respite. They accept people with early signs of dementia and with mental health issues as well as other elderly people in need of support.

The club is independently funded, "We used to get money from Bucks Council, but that stopped a couple of years ago" sighed Janice:
They provide local pick up and drop offs for those that need transport. They are based at the Fairford Leys Community Centre, Aylesbury.
It is not just the people attending who benefit, for their carers it is a vital lifeline:
