A full summer of festivals for Bucks

There's plenty going on in Bucks this summer

Bucks' tourist board promises a diverse and dynamic season for all the family

Tourism bosses in Buckinghamshire have said they're "delighted" to announce their summer programme of events and festivals.

With the last lifting of Covid-19 restrictions on May 17, more of us can meet inside and outdoors - and popular venues have begin to open again.

Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns says it's been a "difficult year for many" - and hopes its summer programme will help local businesses as much as it helps people have a good day out.

But we have been asked to stick to any coronavirus-related guidance that may be present at venues and events.

Lucy Dowson, tourism development manager at Visit Bucks, added: "We do ask that people follow the recommended guidelines, book in advance and respect the local communities.

"Our businesses are working really hard to deliver Covid-safe events, and your co-operation is essential.”

Here's a taste of what's on this summer:

  • 21-27 May - The Chilterns Arts Festival
  • 21 May-6 June - The Chilterns Walking Festival
  • 18-19 June - Humble Country Fayre
  • 19 June - Marlow Regatta
  • 22-26 June - Boodles Tennis in Stoke Park
  • 22-25 July - Bucks Culture Open Weekend
  • 16-31 October  - The Chilterns Walking Festival
