Roger Bolton, who runs The Works restaurant, will step into the shoes of his late friend, Justin Posner, and raise money for the National Deaf Children's Society.
Justin tragically after being struck by a vehicle while training for the marathon. Now, Roger has taken his friend's place in the annual event.
Roger, who celebrates his 60th birthday this year, told Bucks Radio "Justin was not only a dear friend but also a passionate advocate for the National Deaf Children's Society. Running the marathon in his memory is the least I can do to honor his commitment and support a cause that was close to his heart."
