Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Chalfont St Peter.
At around 12.45pm on Saturday (17/2), the victim, a woman in her forties, was assaulted in High Street when a man punched the wing mirror of her car, took her phone and pushed her to the floor. He then grabbed her by the neck and hit her head on the pavement.
The victim received injuries to her face, neck and leg but did not require hospital treatment.
The offender is described as a white man, aged between 60-70 years-old. He was wearing a navy blue coat, blue jeans, brown shoes and carrying a green bag.
Investigating officer PC Connie Chandler said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this distressing assault to please come forward.
“Also, if you were driving in the area around the time of the incident and have a dash-cam, or if you live nearby and have a CCTV camera or video doorbell footage, please check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist us and get in touch if you have.
