Police are appealing for witnesses to an aggravated burglary in Burnham.
Between 4.15am and 4.45am yesterday (26/6), up to five offenders wearing masks, potentially in possession of a firearm, have entered a property in Cornwall Gardens and assaulted an occupant.
The offenders left in possession of two sets of car keys and stole a grey car from outside of the address. This vehicle has since been recovered.
The offenders fled the scene in a blue BMW and either a black Ford Fiesta or Ford C Max.
The victims, two women in their thirties, sustained minor injuries.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Heidi Lansley, said: “We are carrying out a thorough investigation following this aggravated burglary and I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward.
“At this stage, we believe that this is an isolated incident and that there is no wider risk to the public.
“Two 23-year-old men and a 22-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and they remain in police custody at this time.
“Anyone with any information relating to this incident should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240300347.
“Also I would ask anyone who has CCTV, a dash-cam or a video doorbell to please check their footage and get in touch if it shows anything that could assist our enquiries.
