A new chairman has been appointed for the Aylesbury Garden Town board.
Cllr. Gareth Williams has been chosen, who is the Deputy Leader of Buckinghamshire Council and Cabinet Member for Planning and Regeneration.
He replaces Cllr. Steve Bowles, who has taken up a new role as Cabinet Member for Communities.
Cllr. Gareth Williams, Chairman of AGT Board, said:
"Cllr. Steve Bowles has been an excellent Chairman of Aylesbury Garden Town over the last year. Despite the immense challenges of the pandemic, Steve’s vision and dedication has kept the Masterplan on track and I’m excited by what the future holds for Aylesbury Garden Town.
"Looking towards my 12 months as Chairman, I’m clear that our success will only be delivered by working with our partners and communities to fulfil the aspirations to make Aylesbury a thriving, vibrant, innovative and great place to live, work and invest in. I look forward to being part of making that happen."
