The Buckinghamshire College Group are offering one thousand pounds to local businesses that can offer 16-19 year olds in the area valuable work experience.
It's all part of the new T-line qualifications being offered throughout the county, where students spend 80% of their course in the classroom with the other 20% spent in a industry placement with a local employer.
Demand for these courses are on the rise, and organisers want to strengthen the connection between local businesses and local education by offering courses In gain experience in fields such as Mental Health, Social Care and design .

Richard Kirkham, Executive Director of Curriculum Design and Planning said,
“We are very excited to be delivering our new T Level qualifications, each student enrolled on a T Level course must undertake work experience in an organisation that will help to develop their technical and workplace skills. A significant number of local businesses have already pledged their support to provide industry placements, but as the demand for these courses has been unprecedented we need more business to come on board.
The £1,000 incentive is open to all sized employers, with the exception of government departments and arm’s length bodies. There are no restrictions on what the funds can pay for, employers may choose. Any business that has an IT specialism, provides health or care services or operates a science facility will be welcomed with open arms! “
