A classical concert featuring music made famous in film and television is raising money for two local charities this weekend.
On Sunday, over 70 performers from the Aylesbury Vale Concert Orchestra will present "Classical Fantasia", with all proceeds going to the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity and Thames Valley Air Ambulance. It follows their debut concert last year, "A Spanish Fiesta", that raised over £8,500 for charity.
The show is at the Waterside Theatre on Sunday 25th from 4-6:15pm, and features music from the likes of Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Sorcerer's Apprentice.
We caught up with the organiser, Sue Hurst, who told us more about the concert and why it's perfect for all ages:
The concert will also feature violinist Fenella Humphreys, and will be hosted by Bucks Radio's Nathan Cooper. Other music includes:
William Tell Overture
Walk to a Paradise Garden
Romance in F minor
Zigeunerweisen
1812 Overture to Firework sounds/lights
Flight of the Bumble Bee
