When You Say Nothing At All

Bucks charity appeal for your used postage stamps

Local charity Scan appeal have launched a Stamp Appeal for used postage stamps to raise funds for vital medical equipment for Bucks NHS hospitals.

They accept UK and Foreign stamps and you can send them already snipped, with approx. 1cm boarder around each stamp, or if it’s easier you can send the stamps directly to them and they will arrange snipping and sorting.

Every stamp really does have a value, so even standard first and second class stamps are worth keeping and passing on.

They are also keen to hear from anyone who could help set up, and look after, local collection points. This would involve finding a suitable venue, maybe a local library, shop or business, and then picking up stamps on a regular basis.

Stamps could then be dropped off at their offices, or if you have time you could snip and sort first beforehand which would help them to quickly turn stamps into cash!

If you are able to help, further information on the Stamp Appeal can be found here: https://scannappeal.org.uk/get-involved/stamp-appeal/

or call them on 01494 734161.
