But the challenge, according to experts, is keeping these businesses going long-term, with many not making it to the five year mark.
Buckinghamshire continues to see more and more businesses being created in the wake of the last two years.
The latest figures show more companies starting across production, personal services, retail and more - with Aylesbury Vale adding 60 employers.
Growtion, who are behind the numbers, said:
"The driver for this growth continues to be the shorter-term, or ‘disposable’ business identified in last month’s Growtion Business
Growth Index.
"These entrepreneur-led businesses are less likely to last as long as their predecessors, with current businesses going into distress at their 5th year of operation rather than their seventh, as was the case pre=pandemic."
