Bucks Council has apologised after their computer system crashed leaving parents and children without their 11 plus results.
Families were meant to find out at 3.30pm on Friday whether they’d made the grammar school threshold, by logging onto a webpage and putting in their details.
But due to a technical fault, no-one could access it until gone seven in the evening.

But the problem clearly wasn't a quick fix, with the council blaming an external IT systems fault:
