Sarah Green, Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament for Chesham and Amersham, has called for Boris Johnson to resign.
It comes after pictures of Johnson and Chancellor Rishi Sunak at Johnson’s birthday party along with other events.
Commenting on the report, Green said:
"The Prime Minister has created a culture of arrogance and impunity at the heart of government. The shameful reports of the lack of respect and poor treatment of security and cleaning staff at Number 10 illustrate this.
The pictures of the Prime Minister drinking and partying while the rest of the country missed out on precious time with loved ones speak for themselves. The bottom line is that the Prime Minister broke the law. He should have resigned months ago, and he must resign now.”
Conservative MP for Aylesbury Rob Bulter and Conservative MP for Buckingham Greg Smith have not publicly commented on the findings of the report.
