The NHS Buckinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG) - made up of local GPs and other healthcare professionals, responsible for ‘commissioning’ your NHS services is being dissolved.
The group, in charge of planning, designing and paying for your NHS services is being replaced by the Buckinghamshire,Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (BOB ICB).
It's due to NHS England wanting all CCGs to merge across their integrated care system (ICS) boundaries , as part of proposed changes to legislation designed to hand ICSs the direct commissioning power.
