Thames Valley Police are reminding people in bucks to always speak up on issues surrounding domestic abuse.
They have reminded people there is always ways to contact them, even if you are feeling unsafe, by calling 999 and dialling 55, it will let the call handler know to sensitively manage the police response.
The police are available 24/7 to provide help and support, and have reminded people that anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse, regardless of gender, age or background.
