Police have thanked residents of Quainton for their help in locating an escaped prisoner.
The drama unfolded yesterday morning, with an increased police presence in the area.
Officers from the Agility Team, the Joint Operations Unit, dog teams and the police helicopter were all deployed in the search for a man who had escaped a local prison.
They say after extensive team work, the man was located and arrested.
The force thanked villagers for their help in finding him.
