Chesham volunteer wins two awards

18 year old Aqsa Ahmed, from Chesham has won two awards in the space of two weeks for her volunteer work with charity Citizens Advice Bucks

Aqsa Ahmed, from Chesham won the Proud of Bucks Young Community Champion award yesterday at an award ceremony just 12 days after being presented with a Cynet award at a ceremony presented by Taskmasters Alex Horne.

Both awards were to recognise the fantastic hard work and dedication of Aqsa in her volunteer role at Citizens Advice Bucks.

Aqsa has given her time, whilst studying for her A-levels, to help the charity with their social media content, creating and scheduling helpful
posts for the charity.

Camilla Smith-Hammock, Communications Manager for Citizens Advice Bucks says, ‘I am so happy for Aqsa. She absolutely deserves these awards. She is a delight to work with and brings a fresh approach to our charity. I know she will go far in the future but for now I am hoping she will stick around with us a bit longer!’.
