The Met Office has issued Red and Amber weather warnings for the Thames Valley region due to Storm Eunice, with gusts of up to 80mph expected in some areas.
It is anticipated that the storm will result in damage to buildings, as well as some disruption to road networks.
The southern parts of Buckinghamshire, including High Wycombe and Marlow, fall into the Red warning area with the north, including Aylesbury and Buckingham on Amber alert.
The high winds are expected from 5am on Friday 18th February until 3pm the same day.
Average winds are forecast to be 60 to 70mph, with gusts up to 80mph. Winds of 40-50mph will likely continue throughout the weekend.

This is expected to lead to a significant increase in calls to the police and so the public are being reminded to only call 999 in an emergency.
An emergency is classed to be an immediate threat to life or property.
In a non-emergency situation please call 101, or make a report online so we can ensure we respond appropriately.
