Buckinghamshire Council, local businesses, organisations and charity groups have teamed up to provide thousands of places in their Helping Hand Scheme for eligible school-aged children.
Whether your child is interested in sport, photography, drama, music or something else, there is a holiday club for every age and interest.
It's available to children and young people who receive benefits-related free school meals, with each HAF club session including a healthy hot meal.
Details of the full range of activities that are available and how to secure a place can be found on Buckinghamshire Council’s website, with new clubs being added all the time.
Buckinghamshire Council Cabinet Member for Education and Children’s Services, Anita Cranmer was pleased with the success of the HAF programme last year and hopes even more people will make use of it this year. “The Buckinghamshire HAF programme is a great opportunity for those eligible children and young people to nurture any existing interests or hobbies they have, or perhaps try something completely new. There is also a hot meal provided – all for free.
“There are holiday clubs running right across Buckinghamshire over Easter. The places were incredibly popular last year, so I would encourage parents and carers to get their children booked on as early as possible – use your HAF booking code from your child’s school to book your child on as soon as you can so you don’t miss out!”
