An extra £4 million pounds has been added to Buckinghamshire Council’s budget proposals to clear out drains and gullies in the county.
It’s after a very wet winter saw significant flooding as debris prevented water from dispersing properly.
It means a total of £7.7 million will be spent on drainage in Bucks next year, if the proposals are passed by the full council next Wednesday.
