Do You Really Want To Hurt Me

Free entry for U16s at Aylesbury United’s last game of the season

The Mayor of Aylesbury, Cllr Tim Dixon, invites Aylesbury town residents to join him at the Aylesbury United versus Ware Football Club match on Saturday 22 April.

The Town Mayor wants to celebrate the end of the team’s season by offering free tickets for spectators under 16 from the Parish of Aylesbury. Tickets can be claimed by visiting https://bit.ly/MayorsGame23.

Adults will be charged £9 on the day with 50% of funds going towards Aylesbury Foodbank – one of the Town Mayor’s chosen charities of the year. Emmett’s Genies, the Town Mayor’s second charity of the year, will be there also raising funds for their mission to build a ‘wish village’ for children with life-limiting conditions.

The game kicks off at 3pm at the club’s home ground, The Meadow in Chesham, which is also the home to Chesham United.

The Town Mayor promises a family fun day with child-friendly activities within the ground. He said: “I want to provide a fun day out for our residents in the town. This will be one of my final engagements as the Mayor and I wanted to celebrate a year with you. Aylesbury United, the supporters club and the club’s fans have been brilliant supporting the Mayor’s 10 Tonne Challenge and by raising over £3,500 and have donated some pretty big food donations at a game earlier in the season and at the club’s quiz night for Aylesbury Foodbank.”

Chairman of Aylesbury United Football Club, Graham Reed, said: “We have been proud to support The Mayor’s 10 Tonne Challenge this season and supporting Aylesbury Foodbank. The club has a long-term relationship with the Foodbank and this season has been incredible in what the supporters have done to support residents in the town. 50% of the gate receipts will go to the charity on a day that families can enjoy good local football and family friendly activities throughout the game.”

Free tickets for under 16s from the Parish of Aylesbury can be secured by completing the online form: https://bit.ly/MayorsGame23. The match kicks off on Saturday 22 April at 3pm and will take place at The Meadow Amy Ln, Chesham HP5 1NE.
