Gritters out in Bucks to prepare for cold weather

In preparation for the cold weather, Bucks Councils gritters were out and about last night (21/11) on the roads.

With their unique names such as SPREADY MERCURY, DAVID PLOWIE, CHRIS GRITTY and GRIT HAPPENS, they're doing some preventative salting.

Find out exactly how they work here:

Our gritters will be heading out across the county from 8pm for preventive salting treatment as road surface temperatures will drop. Let us know which vehicles you spot! 👁👋 Have you ever wondered how grit works? Find out how 📹 #TfBexplains
