The Buckinghamshire Archives Service in Aylesbury along with the National Paralympic Heritage Trust based at Stoke Mandeville Stadium are looking for volunteers.
As Buckinghamshire is well-known as the birthplace of the Paralympic movement, with the first Stoke Mandeville Games taking place here in 1948, an extensive collection of materials relating to the movement is being held in the archives.
However, the collections are uncatalogued, so aren’t available for historical and cultural research, so they are looking for someone to help.
