If you have recently arrived in Buckinghamshire from Ukraine, or are you a family hosting guests in your home, Bucks Council want to help.
They're hosting a Homes for Ukraine Information and Recruitment event, where you can find information for those arriving in Buckinghamshire to find work, including:
- Current vacancies and advice on how to apply. There will be a translator to help convert CVs into English, and more
- Speak to Council staff about the learning and development support available
- Find out about the different roles available in Buckinghamshire schools
- Support from our Adults & Health and Communities services to find out what you need in place to work
- Additional guests expected on the day, including Pertemps, Jobcentre Plus and Buckinghamshire Adult Learning
- Networking opportunities to meet people going through the same process as you
There will be activities for children. Everyone is welcome.
