Iftikar Ali was arrested on 21st June 2022 and subsequently charged on Monday 26th September with four breaches of a Part 4 Terrorist Notification Order, under Section 54 of the Counter Terrorism Act 2008.

The charges are part of an investigation led by officers from Counter Terrorism South East (CTPSE) supported by Thames Valley Police.

They relate to failing, without reasonable excuse, to notify police of financial information, phone numbers and an email address.
