The Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity is £55,000 better off after a spectacular show in Aylesbury, featuring over 100 children from Buckinghamshire, and now a documentary about the project has been produced.
Cameras followed the cast and crew, who had just a week to rehearse and learn the scenes, songs and dance routines, while many of the children had never taken part in a production of this scale. They performed to a sold out Waterside Theatre on Sunday night, with all the money from the project going to help fund the vital work of the Hospice.
You can watch the documentary, which also features some very moving stories from those in the show, and hear our chat with the show's Director, below.

The musical also starred local actors and Bucks Radio's very own Nathan and Richard, while Neil Hannam has produced this documentary that highlights the show's journey from rehearsals to the big night:
Mandy Fox, who came along to watch her granddaughter in the show said:
“It was a wonderful performance; the cast were amazing and should be so proud of themselves. It was a magical and very moving evening and has really opened our eyes to the services offered by Florence Nightingale Hospice and the work they do in the local community.”
