In the early hours of this morning, 6 separate fire engines and 2 Police officers were called to Paddocks Lane, Woburn Sands.
At 2:23 AM, a large fire involving a pile of green waste, measuring around 20 metres by 10 metres by three metres high, had spread to affect two vans, an HGV trailer, and three shipping containers.
The area affected by the fire measured around 100 metres by 100 metres, and the vehicles and containers were destroyed by the fire.
Bow Brickhill road had been closed while firefighters work at the scene.
Firefighters are likely to remain on the scene over the course of the day (Tuesday 30 August 2022).
