Becky and Steve Ibbotson have used the challenges the pandemic and lockdown have caused, as an opportunity to help out other parents.
The couple have created a website that is full of resources and information, about what parents can do in the local area, all while still following the Government guidelines.
Becky says: "I'm a primary school teacher and Steve works in IT so between us we wanted to do something children related, however the COVID pandemic really did give us the kick that we needed, and it inspired us to create the site. For local families our site uses location to find shops and classes close to where you live, so you can easily follow the government guidelines to stay local when exercising. The aim is to become a one stop shop for all things kids."
They used their own experiences throughout lockdown, as inspiration for the website.
"Like us I know that there are families who are looking for things to do in lockdown, so it's a site made by parents for parents really."
The pair think it's important that the local parents of Bucks are catered for when trying to have fun with their children. When speaking about the Bucks community, Becky added: "We are so fortunate to be developing such a wonderful community."
