A little girl from Meadowcroft has managed to raise over £700 for Aylesbury based Lymphoma Action.
Nine year old Sophie Blake organised her own challenge, by running four miles every Sunday for twenty whole weeks!
She spoke to Bucks Radio and told us a little bit about the epic challenge:
She has even got the Mayor of Aylesbury - Cllr Anders Christensen out running with her too! As he presented her with a trophy for her selfless work.
He said:
“It was an honour to meet and run with Sophie and her Dad, Steven. Sophie is inspirational and it was great to hear, not only about how well her fundraising is going, but also her motivation to get out every weekend to run whatever the weather.”
“On behalf of Aylesbury Town, I can say that we are proud of Sophie and her choice to make a difference.”
