A man has been jailed for almost three years for drug supply offences in High Wycombe.
Jonathan Cropper, aged 26, of Marlow, pleaded guilty to a count each of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply heroin in a hearing at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on 12 August this year.
Appearing at Aylesbury Crown Court last Thursday (3/10), Cropper was sentenced to a total of two years and ten months’ imprisonment.
At just after 11.20pm on 9 August this year, officers stopper Cropper, who was driving a vehicle in Green Street, High Wycombe.
He was arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences and during an enhanced search in custody, 96 wraps of class A drugs, both crack cocaine and heroin were recovered from his underwear.
Evidence showed that Cropper was running the ‘Homeless Joe’ county drug line in High Wycombe.
Based on the strength of evidence, Cropper pleaded guilty at his first hearing.
Investigating officer PC Marcus Rose of the Buckinghamshire Proactive Team said: “Cropper has been dealing class A drugs in High Wycombe and I am pleased that we have managed to take his drugs out of the circulation and that Cropper has been rightly jailed for his offending.
“I would like to thank our dog section and also the Roads Policing Unit, who both assisted with the stop and search of Cropper’s vehicle.
