A man has been jailed for three burglaries in High Wycombe.
Darren Biggs, aged 32, of HMP Bullingdon, was sentenced to four months in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of burglary other than dwelling at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Sometime between 3am and 7am on 2 October this year, Biggs broke into a business address in Oxford Street and stole a quantity of cash.
Then, sometime between 5.30am and 5.40am on 14 October, Biggs broke into Iceland on High Street and stole two mobile phones and a rucksack.
At around 7.40am the next day, Biggs broke into a business address in Desborough Road and stole a computer monitor, portable speakers and a charity donation box.
Biggs was charged on Sunday (5/11).
Investigating officer PC Tim Barratt said: “Darren Biggs entered various business premises in the early hours of the morning and stole items, including a charity donation box.
“Biggs is a habitual criminal and the sentence handed down by the court rightly reflects the nature of the offences he committed.
“Thames Valley Police is committed to bringing burglars to justice as it is an incredibly invasive crime and will not be tolerated.”
