Officers from the Aylesbury Vale Neighbourhood Team carried out an operation at The Buckingham School this morning (14/11) where any student entering the school grounds were required to walk through a metal detector.
It follows a recent incident in Buckingham where a teenager suffered an injury after being stabbed.
Officers followed this up by giving the students an educational input about the implications of carrying weapons.
