It's a chance to recognise people or organisations who do great things in the Aylesbury community.
Freda Roberts MBE was a local Town, District, and County Councillor. She lived and worked in Aylesbury and supported many local charities and individuals as she believed passionately in community work. She spent many hours during her 50 years of service supporting the town and its residents, and that's why our annual community award is given in her honour.
The nominee may have improved the wellbeing of their community; celebrated diversity in Aylesbury; addressed equality issues and challenged discrimination; been part of an innovative community-based project or challenge; inspired residents and acted as a community champion; gone above and beyond for local people or actively improved community wellbeing.
If you know an organisation or individual continuing Freda's legacy by doing great things in the town, nominate them now. You can read the full criteria and fill in the nomination form the Aylesbury Town Council Website - Freda Roberts Community Award (external site)
