Bucks Council were given nearly £6 Million from Central Government's £500 Million 'Pot Holes Fund'.
This winter has been particularly hard on our roads, with constant wet conditions and lots of freeze/thaw action. Since the beginning of the winter period in October 2020 until the end of January 2021, they have repaired 5,485 potholes.
A Transport for Buckingham spokesperson says: "The money has been incredibly beneficial and really well received. This year, the money will allow us to be agile to a network that has been adversely affected by cold and wet weather without the need to alter our other planned maintenance schemes."
