Oxford Road to be closed for TWO weeks

A stretch of the A418 between Aylesbury and Stone will be closed for HS2 works from tonight (16/8/24) until Monday September 2nd.

As part of road realignment work for the new high speed rail project, the A418 will be closed from Coldharbour Way, Aylesbury to the Bugle Horn at Stone. There will be access for residents and businesses during this time. The work is set to begin at 8:30pm on Friday August 16th and last until 5:30am on Monday September 2nd.

The map below shows the official signposted diversion, which will take drivers via Thame and Princes Risborough. There's more about the work from HS2 here, including how to contact them. (EXTERNAL SITE)
