Many of our local community boards are taking part in the Wild Aylesbury Vale project.
It is a competition for residents, community groups, schools and parishes to showcase their green spaces, and maybe even win a prize.
The aim of the competition is to encourage wildlife into our green spaces, connect us with our local environment and support our health and wellbeing.
To enter the competition, register your interest in entering by:
- emailing WildAylesburyVale@buckinghamshire.gov.uk including your name, postcode and email address
- letting them know if you're a member of the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust
- specifying whether you would like to enter your own garden or outdoor space, a community group, a town or parish council or a school
Please see our wildlife garden checklist for key feature ideas you could include in your entry.
Once they have received your email, you will be sent a competition entry form and pre competition survey to complete.
Your entry must be submitted by 30 June and winners will be announced on 8 July
