The Neighbourhood Teams across the Aylesbury Vale have been conducting a number of patrols in various popular car parks this month.
The team have been visually checking vehicles to ensure that they have not been left with valuables on show.
Those that had sadly done so were provided with letters informing them of the importance of taking items of value with them and not having personal belongings on show.
A force spokesperson said: "The PC's and PCSO's have had many conversations with walkers where advice and guidance has been given on security and safety; these patrols will still continue so please feel free to have a chat with the team."
