Police in High Wycombe have been busy after two men have been sentenced with separate drug offences in the space of just two days.

Firstly, in a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday (19/10), Craig Eyre, aged 29, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to three years and four months’ imprisonment.

He pleaded guilty at a previous hearing on 27 August to one count of being concerned in supplying a controlled drug of class A to another.

Eyre was detained on 25 August under the Misuse of Drugs Act. He was then taken for a thorough search where officers located approximately 100 wraps of suspected heroin and cocaine.

He was charged the following day.

Eyre was found dealing drugs in broad daylight in the afternoon next to a park where numerous families were visiting the fayre.

Then, a day later Raniqkay Rattrey, aged 22, of Booker Lane, High Wycombe was sentenced to three year’s and nine months’ imprisonment following a hearing at Amersham Crown Court.

It’s after he pleaded guilty to one count each of possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession with intent to supply heroin.

At around 2.20pm on 6 July 2020, officers were called to Desborough Street, High Wycombe to reports of drug dealing in the area.

Officers encountered a man in a car who was seemingly engaging with others to sell them drugs.

Rattrey was arrested and searches found that suspected drugs were secreted about his person.
