Police searching for witnesses to robbery in High Wycombe

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery which occurred in High Wycombe.

The incident happened on Friday (24/9) between about 2am and 2.30am in Priory Avenue.

The victim, an 18-year-old man, was walking along the road when he was approached by four males.

One stood aside and directed the others to shake the victim and then tackle him to the floor.

While he was on the floor he was kicked in the stomach and then had his phone, tobacco, keys and a passport stolen.

One suspect then gave his keys and passport back before the group left in the direction of the town centre.

The victim was not injured in the incident.

The first offender is white, about 19 or 20 years-old, and 5ft 10ins tall with a slim build and an English accent. He had a brown stubbly beard and short brown hair and wore dark blue jeans and a light coloured top with short sleeves and a collar.

The second offender is black and may have been bald. He had a medium build and was wearing a hat. He was about 5ft 7ins tall and was clean shaven. He was wearing dark blue jeans and a white, short sleeved shirt.

The third offender was about 6ft tall and wore similar clothes to the others.

The fourth offender was black and also wore similar clothing to the others.

Case investigator Victoria Rogers, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who saw this incident, or who recognises the descriptions of these suspects, to get in touch.

“If you have any information which you think could be relevant to our appeal, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101, quoting reference number 43210430445.

“Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or make a report online.”
