The Neighbourhood team from the Wendover force have received reports about strangers trying door handles around Stoke Mandeville (Station Road) and Aston Clinton.
They are urging all residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to them.
They're also asking people to be mindful about what is left inside their vehicles and ensure that any valuables are kept out of sight.
