See Waddesdon Manor lit up in support of those affected by baby loss with the Ducklings Trust charity

Every year across the globe, we remember babies who were born sleeping or gained their angel wings too soon.

And this Friday (16th October), there is an opportunity to do this locally with thanks to the Ducklings Trust charity.

They will be remembering those babies at Waddesdon Manor, starting with a candle lit walk at 6pm to the manor, which will be lit at 7pm in remembrance.

Danni Gupta midwife at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and member of the Ducklings Trust committee shared why events like this are so important.

"It's really just to highlight that this isn't something that is in the shadows, there are more people affected by baby loss than people are aware of and its a chance for people to talk about children who are not there anymore.

"We wanted to do something for local people affected by baby loss, so that they can meet together and talk about their babies, and having such a beautiful place lit up to remember these babies is just so fitting."

Battery operated tea lights will be available for a donation to the Ducklings trust, which is a charity set up to support maternity care across Buckinghamshire healthcare trust, including bereavement care.

If you would like to attend, you need to register by e-mailing danni.gupta@nhs.net
