Plans have been put forward for the Lloyds offices on Walton Street and the abandoned Hampden House on the High Street.
More office space could be turned into flats in Aylesbury.
Plans have been submitted to put a hundred and eleven flats inside Hampden House - which sits empty on the High Street - and 144 inside the Lloyds Bank building next to the Blue Leanie.
Both proposals already have opposition, including from the Town Council.
They are arguing that there is no provision for extra GP surgery or school places and that many other projects have seen flats sitting empty because of a lack of interest from buyers.
When it comes to Hampden House, the site has been earmarked for redevelopment before, including one idea to turn it into a hotel.
Decisions on both of these applications are due to be made soon.
