14 year old Nancie Devlin currently sits Third in the UK Championships for Racing Hovercraft.
The John Colet School student will be travelling to Sweden on the 28th of August to compete in the World Hovercraft Championships - and is the only female doing so.
We spoke to Nancie about how she got into the sport, and explained a little more about it:
Mum Makyla began racing as a Junior in 1982 and has continued ever since - we spoke to her about how she feels watching her daughter race:
Nancie's sister, Honor, also started racing as a Junior back in 2009.
As a team, Thames Valley Campers, they attend race meetings across the UK between April-October each year, and later this month are attending the World Hovercraft Championships.
The whole family are hoping for a successful World Championships and hopefully on the back of that, they might be able to obtain corporate sponsorship for the 2023 season.
