Proms in the Park 2022

The classic and much-loved Proms in the Park is back for 2022 on the 28 of August in Vale Park. Get your picnic together, grab a rug, union jack flags and most importantly, your friends and family and get to Vale park for this superb free night out.

Picnics from 6:30pm. Concert starts at 7:15pm. Fireworks finale at 9:30pm

Aylesbury Concert Band with soloist Alison Langer will delight you at this typically English outdoor concert with popular traditional Proms anthems of Rule Britannia, Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory, alongside a wide variety of tunes you will recognise, but maybe never heard played like this before.

This year sees the introduction of hot food stalls – so if you don’t want to bring a picnic then you can purchase food on site, or pre-order a Graze box.

Proms in the Park is a free event hosted by Aylesbury Town Council which brings the community together in a safe, fun and entertaining environment.

Extra info
As the proud recipients of the Fair4All Events award, Aylesbury Town Council will continue to provide a broad service for those with disabilities.

Marie from Hand Talking, along with her team of friends, will be providing BSL interpretation for the performance.    Blue Badge parking is available at Aqua Vale Swimming and Fitness Centre where additional spaces will be provided on the day.
