Stinkabell the Bog Fairy lives happily in the Land on the Other Side of the Pillow. She spends her days splashing around in the bog with the Flumpins and the Bog Frogs. Then one day she arrives home to discover that her house, her parents and the whole bog village have disappeared. Stinkabell loses no time trying to find her parents who - she discovers - have been kidnapped by the repulsive, creature crunching Bogsnufflers. Her search takes her all the way to Human Land where she meets Dillon who helps her to solve the mystery. But it turns out to be a lot more complicated than either of them could ever have imagined.

The action packed adventure is suitable for 4-9 year olds, and features themes of friendship, greed and the message to never give up.

Hannah Moorcroft-Jones lives in Great Missenden, where Roald Dahl lived and worked, which further inspired her to write her own children’s adventure story.
